Default Best brands

Hello, I have a 2003 v70. I love this car and I've done lots of work on it. I became my own mechanic when covid first started. I want to replace control arms. When I replaced struts I was very disappointed in the quality of the part. I'm tempted to buy from Volvo, but damn... Anyone have and advice about brands that work well with Volvo? Thanks

For struts? Bilsteins are good. Control arms and general suspension w bushings: Lemforder, Meyle, Bosch, and I am sure there are more. Powerflex is good for poly bushings if you want a stiffer suspension.

For front control arms on that car. If you want to replace just the bushings, one of them can be a real pain if you haven't done it before. There is also a bit of labor involved and that's why a lot of people and shops just replace the whole front control arm with preinstalled bushings.

EDIT: Moog is also good
