I know very little about Volvos so any advice on this V70R would be greatly appreciated. Our intent is to use it as a 3rd car for running errands and occasional commute (30 mile trip)- no long cross country family vacations. Our kids are grown and I'm not skilled enough to perform any repairs. Our requirements are reliability, reasonable maintenance and safety.

Do you see anything concerning about this car or anything in particular I should look at before making a final decision? Any input of the price would also be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately, the deal on the V70 fell though (long story). However, we did end up buying a 2006 XC90 V8 that's in pristine condition. Aside from the cloudy headlights, it's been trouble-free and fun to drive.
