Default Changing alternator.

Hi guys, just got a 2002 V70 estate as a second car and the alternator has packed in

Ordered a new one that arrives tomorrow and will fit same day.

So how easy/difficult is this to do as it looks a little awkward.

Any tips welcomed.

Thanks in advance.

Chris.

Simple job. Remove p/s pump and stay to block. Hard pipe comes off but reservoir can be lifted. Aircon compressor needs to be loosened ( awkward) and the the alternator comes out - bit of a house of cards. If you have an alternator freewheel pulley with more than 100k miles I would advise changing it.
