Driver's window regulator slides broken on 2003 V70
I just took my door panel off to see why my driver's door window was not closing completly or going up and down correctly. The first thing I found was a blue plastic regulator/window slide laying in the bottom of the door. When I attempt to put the window up or down with the switch, I can see that the rearmost arm of the regulator has the metal mushroom shaped pin that the plastic slide was on,.....I am unable (yet) to see the front one,....but feel certain that it is also missing or broken as the entire window feels loose in the door when the regulator is moved down.
I'm guessing that this is a common proble, and have seen it on other venicles in surprisingly high numbers.
Is there a recognized fix for this?
Anyone making a replacement slide?
Or,...is there a DIY Make-your-own replacement glide tutorial??

When you get the new one don't remove the metal keeper. it will open enough to mount on the pin. You may have to squeeze it on with channel locks. The first time I replaced one I didn't press it on all the way and it came off and wadded up the window regulator.
I have a problem as the arms have been bent slightly as they went behind the window and I had to prize them out from behind the window as they were jammed behind. I need to take out the arms to straighten them. Is there a you tube video or something showing how to do this?
