I went Demontrond Volvo today our driver's window was stuck in the open position. They had the regulator in stock (part # 9467884) at $738.29. A bit high but less than Volvo of Houston $847.50. The tech was available to install it today ($435.60 labor), which was God smiling on us, because it finally rained here in Houston. We are in a exceptional drought here. I also had a 15% off repair coupon from them. So we saved $176.08 off total bill. The total was $1058.72 and I am happy it got done so quickly. I have read several posts that adjusting the window is a big PIA.

 

Yes it is....however it could of cost you about $100 or less and 2-3 hours of your time....if it was the motor then that itself could of been replaced....but if it was jus a ROLLER a guy sells a repair roller set for about $100 or less...he's on Matthews Volvo forum....alot of DYI info on there.....

 

It is too hot here in Houston to mess with it and I do not have that much patience.
