ECM Blues
Hi everybody.
Well I'm the proud owner of a Volvo V70 XC AWD 2.4 5 cyl. Turbo!
So I keep getting a code that it's the throttle ECM that keeps the light on so it won't pass any smog!Car runs perfectly until I put it in gear then it stalls , and dies on me in traffic so not safe! I called Volvo dealership here in Las Vegas and they wanted $1, 349.00 for the part.I thought he was trying to sell me both modules and the case housing around it but then he said, no , that that was the price for the one module! Not to mention the extra fees for programming it.A parts fee of $89.75 plus the labor fee at $170 per hour! So.......obviously Volvo dealership is a no-go! Help!!!!!!! Any ideas?????? Getting desperate but I refuse to get rid of it because I've already pumped lots of money into it and now it's getting personal! LoL
