I just installed front fog lights on my 2004 V70 and I am trying to find a switch from someone other than the dealer (160.00!) but I am not having any luck. Any ideas? Thanks.

Two years ago I installed fog lamps on my 04 V70. I purchased the fog lamp kit online. That kit included everything needed to connect the fogs lamps(lamps, wires, connectors, etc). i found out later that my volvo was prewired for fog lamps. All I did was cut the holes out, snap in the lights, connect the wires. The kit included a button face to replace the blank button face on the dash. What you need to do is remove that blank face to see if there is a switch already in place. if the switch is there then your volvo is prewired. My volvo had the switch. Another thing to know is that you will have to take your car to the dealer to have the fog lamps programmed into the computer before they will work. At least that is what I did. I think it cost $150.00 but not sure.
