Default Help, newbie here

Hello, I am new to this forum as I am just about to buy a V70 of some description, but really could do with some advice please. I am currently looking at a V70 2002 20v 2.4 petrol, it is supposed to have full service history and only has 85000 miles on. There is no record of the cam belt being changed, and I know Volvo recommend it to be change either every 8 years or 90,000 miles. The history states it has been serviced 9 time, 7 at Volvo main dealer and 1 at a Volvo specialist and 1 at a Mercedes specialist. Would you think that the cam belt would have been changed with that sort of history? Also, is there a way to tell if it had been done? Do Volvo stamp the book advising the cam belt changed, or do they place a sticker somewhere? This is the only thing putting me off buying the car, as don't really want the expense of doing this on day one. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. many thanks
