Default Help NO POWER

Hello fam,
I own a 2001 v70 2.4T
Tonight I pulled over to take some pics and my car shut-off no power to anything. Then I noticed my obd2 scanner plug was lit and I heard a consistent alarm sound under the hood. I looked up some stuff ignition switch or CEM. I haven't checked the relays yet because its cold as hell outside and pouring rain. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

I'd start by checking fuses then measure battery voltage. Next is to try wiggle the key (that can help make contact in a failing ignition switch). What happens when you get a jump or apply a battery charger? After that you will need to consult a wiring diagram and start seeing what relays etc are powered or not.

Default No power issue.

I checked the battery voltage it just said low. I've gone through the fuses and have replaced a few but none that would cause this issue. I did find a loose ground but the weather here is bad and my window and sunroof are both stuck open. Which makes things harder is that I've been stuck living in my car since Thanksgiving morning. And a lot of my tools were stolen so I'm trying to utilize what tools I have left. I haven't pulled the cem yet and can't test the ignition switch. Not sure what else it could be at this point. But I'm beyond frustrated. I tried local agencies who are supposed to help veterans but that's just a wash here where I am. Any other ideas I could check?

what happens if you jump start the car or put a battery tender on the car? also what tool did you use that says "battery is low? Do you own a multi-meter (even a $30 unit from Harbor Freight will do). Idea is a functioning battery will show 12.6 to 12.8 V at the terminals with the engine off. if the volts are down to say 12.2, it says the battery has discharged. If the volts are down at say 10V, that says the battery has a dead cell and needs to be replaced. Once the system voltage goes below a threshold, the computers and sensor will not operate correctly so all sorts of odd things can happen. One thought - given all the rain in NoCal, have you noticed any leaks into the cabin that could have dripped onto a module? this could lead to corrosion in the contacts so you could try removing, cleaning and reseating the connectors. Do you have access to an OBD2 scanner (Autozone etc will loan them )? Try scanning for fault codes to see if that helps
