Default New battery but dead?

Put new battery in and car was fine for a while! Yesterday after about 2K the yellow triangle appeared so I drove home! In the driveway tried to start the car but battery was dead? Is the problem with the Alternator?

Have it tested. Usually the dash warning lights will light up while driving if the alternator is bad.

If the alternator wasn't charging the battery the car wouldn't make it 100 miles. I have replaced 4 batteries in 1 car this year.

Post more details about your car and driving habits.

Watch the video. It will explain that cars that are not driven much will drain the battery.

What year model is the car, how many miles does it have and what climate are you located? It does matter.

There can be an issue with the battery cable. They build corrosion in the positive connector end. Your climate, age, and mileage is perfect for that condition.

If you put 4 batteries in a car in a year, I sure hope you checked draw.

You might have a current draw when the car is off. If the battery light isn't on, the alternator is charging in most cases.
