Default Oil on spark plug

Was changing plugs on my 09 V70 with 95k and found all plugs original and clean except for #6 which had some oil on it when I pulled it out. Where does the oil come from...valve cover seal? And it runs fine and wondering if this is normal....it wasn't a lot but concerned when others had none.

Thanks,

Bill/Indy

when you say oil on it - do you mean the outside of the plug? My guess would be one of a few things - a) somebody spilled some oil around the fill cap and it worked its way back to #6 b) you have a weepy seal on the oil fill cap. c) the plug wasn't fully tightened and some blowby managed to come up past the threads. By #6, you mean the cylinder farthest from the timing chain side of the engine right? My suggest is to remove the various covers then clean the top of the engine and around other areas (like the rear cam seals), check the plug tightness using a torque wrench and see if anything reappears.
