Greetings! Apologies if this is a duplicate post, but despite search here, YouTube and the interwebs in general I can't find an answer to my issue.


I'm installing Sachs rears struts in my 2010 V70. The shock mount doesn't have an hex key (which I could deal with just fine), it has a tab with 5mm flats and a 13mm nut. I have pass-thru sockets, etc., but nothing I have (that I can think of) can hold the tab while I finish tightening the nut. I ordered the Lisle 20400 since it had a similar shape in the tool, but it turns out it is too big. .

I'm sure I'm missing something, but for the life of me I can't figure it out. I don't believe putting an impact gun on it will work and my understanding is it's not recommended to do that anyway.

I really need to finish this job, so any/all help/suggestions/etc. is much-appreciated!

 

nvm - figured it out with an old 1/2" offset wrench and some pliers wrenches
