Oh sh*t. Talking about bad luck.

As you said it's such a nasty and tight place to work on.

Edit: I think you can definitely fit small drill in there if you remove the radiatior. Probably easier to remove than the intake.

Good luck.

We managed to drill a 3.5 mm hole on the plastic next to the old hole and put in a new screw. To get enough space for drilling, we removed the radiator fan which is relatively easy to remove. The MAPT sensor is now attached (albeit at a different angle than before, but that shouldn't make a difference). The car works fine now, and I guess we will see if this fixed the problem in the next few months if it doesn't kill the O2 sensor again.

Nice you got it fixed.

If it's still giving problems, check the spark plugs. If the car is running too rich for a while it kills the spark plugs quickly.

Default V70 2.0f ethanol values at 100%. Doesn't start

Hi! I have probably a similar issue with a V70 2.0f. It won't start, only error code P113200 (H2OS11, rich).

Recently replaced the fuel pump.

The MAP shows 88kpa. Could it be defected? What did yours show?

I can't remember what mine showed, but it should show around 100 kPa when the engine isn't running. So your MAP could be defective.

@karolbabinski Why did you replace the fuel pump? It's most likely just the MAP sensor which is very inexpensive and quick fix.

Or did you have different symptoms? Even if you replace the sensor you have to replace the lambda and the spark plugs too (most likely) as the richness caused by faulty MAP destroys them.

Let me know if you got it fixed.

Our car has been running like a champ after this MAP sensor fix. 20.000 kilometers since then, zero issues. Actually that has been the only issue with this car during the 8 years and over 100K kilometers we've owned it. Only some brake discs, etc. were replaced due to wear. Good cars.
