Hi, just today I had to put the rear seats down and its like the internal mechanism on the NSR seat back is broken and going by the other side it looks like a double catch so can't work it manually. Just wondered if anyone has had similar issue and knows how to gain access to latch without damaging anything else in process.

Same thing happened to my 2003 v70. The passenger rear seat latch fails to 'catch' internally. The trick is to take a normal size flathead screwdriver, insert it where the mesh net flap opens, and manually actuate the mechanism inside the seat. A flashlight helps to understand where to place the screwdriver, as it's a few inches inside the seat, so otherwise you're going on feel.
