I’m hoping it’s not much but…. I took out the climate module today to get to the back to replace the globe. Whilst I was pulling it out and changing a globe I had an electrical burning smell and started to smell a little smoke. Unplugged it and left for a while. Went to plug back in and don’t have any back lights now on the unit.
I know it was a stupid thing to do but thought just replacing one bulb would be ok without doing the full unplug trick. The unit works fine still - everything works but the back lights. Button lights are ok.

I haven’t checked the fuse box yet as time ran out but given it’s only back lights I wouldn’t think fuse??

If I did have to look for a replacement I can get a junkyard one from the same year model car that will fit, do they require reprogramming? It’s a 2001 V70 XC.
