Unfortunately, I rear ended the car ahead of me damaging the front bumper cover on my wife's 2002 V70.

Does someone know if the bumper cover for the V70 wagon is the same as the one on the S60 or S80 cars?

I am planning to go to an import car wrecking yard in the morning and if by any chance the bumper covers are the same, it will be much easier to find one that fits.

Also, how hard would be to remove the bumper cover (fascia) from the donor car..?

Bumper covers are surprisingly simple. As for the first question there might be some similarities with them but I'm not sure if they are the same part
