I have read on Edmunds.com that buyers should avoid the 04 and 05 V70 wagon, what are the opinions on this ?

 

I have 120,000 trouble free miles on my 05 V70. It has been a great car and I hoping to get at least another 120K out of it.

 

My 04 V70 2.4L 168 hp non-turbo has performed well though I have only put 60 kmi on it. The highway mpg is terrific (e.g., 33 mpg ave for 2050 miles from Oakland CA to Dallas TX); the city short trip mpg is usually 21 mpg). It can tow a trailer, carry a roof box, carry a lot in back.
