2001 vs 2004 XC70 ??

2001 vs 2004 XC70 ??
Hi
Im a new to being a Volvo owner .I picked up a 2004 XC 70 for what I think was a good deal.
Also I found a 2001 with a blown transmission that I am going to use for a parts car.
My 2004 needs a R R coil spring and the high pressure power steering hose I know the spring will fit but are there many other parts that should be the same ?
Im a VW TDI guy and don't know anything yet about Volvo.
Any help would be great.
