2004 XC70 left side bi-xenon won’t stay in high beam position
Hello,
This is happening on our 2004 XC70 when headlight switch is in the 12 o’clock/On position:
When I use the left stalk on steering column to switch bi-xenon headlights to high beam, both move up to high beam position but left one then immediately drops back down to dipped/low beam position.
Any suggestions on further troubleshooting or ideas on what could be causing the left light to not stay in high beam position after motor moves it there? Is there something in the headlight motor that is supposed to hold the light in the high position?
thank you.
