Hi all,
I have been searching the web but have not found a situation that matches mine. On the driver's door, none of the window switches work nor do the mirror controls. However, the locking switch is working fine. Anyone seen anything similar or have an idea what might cause that?

As a side note, I've seen mixed opinions about whether it is necessary to get a new switch programmed by the dealer. Anyone know if I can simply install a new switch or do I need to get it programmed?

Check the body to door wiring harness for broken wires.

I have the same problem but also the driver door lock doesn't work. All other windows and doors work fine except the driver's door. The information on the internet seems to indicate that my Driver's Door Module (DDM) is faulty. I have tried to find whether a used driver door module will work but the information is confusing. Some say you can replace your module with a used module and the programming will work if you find one with the correct numbers. My three numbers on the sticker of the module are: BP2THTVVB1, 0966017, 9401804. I can find 20 to 30 used modules with the 1st and 3rd number, but I can't find the 2nd number. I forgot to mention that my Volvo is a 2004 XC90.
