Does my 2011 XC70 have a rain sensor in the windshield? I went to replace the original windshield and was told I had a rain sensor just behind the rear view mirror. IF the windshield is equipped with a rain sensor, how do you turn it on. My understanding is a rain sensor would automatically turn on the wipers. ??

 

The rain sensor switch is on the right hand post arm that contains the manual wiper switch.
