This afternoon I opened up my car to realize the battery is completely dead. I have a portable Jump Start, so I popped the hood, removed the cover over the battery and...I sure don't want to light up the wrong terminal.
I see what I believe is a plus, but it's adjacent to a black wire, while what may or may not be a large minus (?) is closest to the red-marked cable.
If the stamped plus does indicate the positive terminal, I'm assuming I should clip over the large round terminal and attach my black cable to the frame.
Can anyone confirm the stamped + designates the positive terminal on this battery? My plan is to jump it tonight to ensure it's jumpable, and again tomorrow morning when I'll drive to the dealership for a replacement, but I feel pretty dumb for not looking more closely before I had a problem.
