Charge my battery - well that's well hidden
It's been very cold for the past week. I don't drive the 2016 V60 very far and do a lot of stop start. I notice that the low battery charge would appear at times.
My usual protocol is to charge my batteries once (maybe twice) a year with a charger. The alternator appreciates it and so does the battery.
Bought the car last spring and this is the first time to d a charge. So I pull out my charger and remove the cover for the battery and whoa---they have that battery stuffed in there nice and tight. With the wind chill at 10F I'm not into removing a lot of bits.
So I attached the positive cable and the negative cable went to a ground strap I saw running from the body to what I would call the bell-housing. Works for me but the time will come for me to have a look at the cable connections at the battery and gone are the days of an easy battery pull. BUT I think I like it better than the S60 who had the battery in the trunk.
Never mind --- I saw the little cover with the arrow pointing to open it. Now I can see those cable connections.
