Car jerking at lower speeds
Hi there,
I really need some help. I bought a 2001 volvo V70XC in December. Since then the car has been running quite poorly and I have been to numerous mechanics and spents loads of money and nothing seems to be fixing the problem. When I drive on highway without stopping the car runs fine, however when I am in city traffic and driving less than 60km/hr and starting and stopping the car runs terribly. Its an automatic and it feels like when its trying to get from 1st-2nd gear and back down again it revs and then the car jerks before going into the next gear. The engine light comes on and service emission (or something like this- a mechanic told me not to worry about this)
I have had the throttle body looked at and nothing wrong
oil changes
air mass sensor changed
timing belt changed
I am hesitant to go back to a mechanic because I feel like I am getting ripped off. please can someone help me!!??
Thanks so much
Erin
