CB Radio Install advice needed

Ok so, I unlike most probably, do take my 04 XC70 offroad with other enthusiasts at least once or twice a month. I have upgraded my skidplate up front and paid a little extra for "streetable" offroad tires so far to assist in this endeavor - reallt would like to find an extra 1/2 to 1" ground clearancxe at an affordable price that wont cause TOO much extra wear on the driveline but thats another issue down the road.

I recently bought a "compact" CB radio and antenna from walmart anf the cable for the antenna is nowhere NEAR long enough to use so also bought a 10' extender for it so I can mount it to wire through the tailgate (I tried bringing it through by the drivers door and got drenched the 1st good rain lol). I have the CB mountefd right by the radio (I yanked out that little vertical storage area and the radio fits snugly in there.)

My question is (I currently have the power wedged into the area between an existing fuse on the driver side interior fuse panel) where to best "wire in" that power cable so that it comes on and off like the radio in the car (right now, I have 24/7 power going to it and have to shut it off when I am not in the car... I dont like that lol)
