Electronic Park Break locked up
Have XC70 2010 with 250k + miles.
Started hearing and feeling grinding in the left rear. Thought I needed new breaks so got pads. Started to do the job and found that the pads were fine. Continued to drive and today in the driveway, it appears that the rear driver side electronic break locked up. At least that is what I hope happened and that it is not something with the awd.
So, completely locked wheel. No warning lights at all. Had to get the car to move about six feet so gave it gas and dragged the locked wheel across the pavement. Had to be able to move other car, otherwise I would not have done it.
Does this sound right? Could it be the awd. Do I just pull the electronic break and replace.
Would pay someone, but low on funds and trying to get it done. Thanks
