Hi all, new here and looking forward to fixing some loose ends on my 2004 XC70. The front interior door handles both broke in the last few months. I took the door panel off and found that the cable that the lever pulls on broke out of its plastic housing it goes into in the door that moves the latch mechanism. it appears one of the plastic tabs holding it in place broke off. Anybody have a creative fix for this? it looks like no small task to replace everything. I tried gluing it in and it held up for about a month and just broke today.

Replace with new parts. They are not expensive.
