Default Limp mode at 5 mph and clunk in the rear

Was working fine when I parked it and the issue started the next morning with no symptoms before. Clunking is about wheel rotation rate. I tried bringing up the speed to above 5 mph but it doesn't respond to more throttle. No engine light or codes. Had it towed to my mechanic. Nothing odd when rotating the drivetrain on a lift. No noise when in drive on the lift. Wheel bearings are good. Drive shaft u-joints are good. CV joints are good.
Several Volvo savvy locals are stumped. I'm hoping someone here has the knowledge to help us resolve it. Thanks in advance.

It's repaired. Left rear wheel speed sensor failed causing the ABS to make noise with the right rear brake. It also caused the OEM security system to ignore throttle input. No codes, No indicator on the dashboard.
