Default low beam out but good bulb and no blown fuse

I was changing out the driver side low beam bulb and the plastic on the connector broke on the green wire side so it was dangling. As I fumbled around a little more in 5 degree F weather, the green wire made contact with the black wire that was still attached to the bulb. Not good, but I thought now I just have to change out a fuse to get it to work. Anyway, got the bulb swapped, put the connectors back on. Went to check the fuse, according to the manual, #1 slot by the door. It was not blown and the passenger side low beam was still good. Is there another place I should check? There doesn't appear to be damage on the crimp on the wire

Yah, the car was on when I was changing it so there was electricity flow. I've done 3 of these in the last 6 months and it wasn't a big deal so I thought I'd warm up the car for my wife and also get some ambient light while I change the bulb. What else can I check?

Ok, no updates, but I've been looking to replace the connector since I broke it and thought it was incredibly poorly designed for removal and durable (and wire is so thin!). This is what I've found Volvo Headlight Wiring Harness - Genuine Volvo 31299732 | FCP Euro

but it doesn't look like what's there. What's there has no clip and is a 90 degree to the bulb. Is this a redesigned replacement for OE? Or is it for the high beam?
Just noticed it might be for the other side not the bulb side. Ah, also says for H11, and I'm pretty sure the low beam is H7.

Ha, what a dolt I am! There is another set of fuses under the hood that controlled left and right beams separately. All I saw in the manual was the one inside the door that had one fuse for both sides. So problem fixed, just have to find a replacement connector now.

Hi I am new to this forum and can't figure out how to post a new thread... but I have a Volvo 2013 xc60 that is having intermittent driver side headlight out. At fist I could just tap it and it would come back on, but now its out. I believe I'm having FUSE problems... where is the fuse for drivers side headlight for the 2013?? what number am I looking for ?? I see it is very hard to get into these boxes - esp the one under the glove box? Please help I don't have the money to take my car into the shop and am running around with 1 headlight.
Thanks

My experience is that the connector itself gets overheated and can fail. They wont hold tight on the bulb tabs so I cut them off and install a new connector. Depending upon the bulb, you can get the connectors at any auto parts store and change them.
