I recently sold my 2010 V70 with 157K miles after having put 70K miles on it in 5 years. A bit expensive in maintenance but very satisfying.
I just acquired a 2015.5 XC70 Platinum T6 with 41K miles! Literally owned by a single woman, dealer serviced every 10,000 miles, newer tires, and looking like a showroom car. The dealer said they had never seen such a clean car. I traveled 250 miles to get it, beating out 16 other people who sought it on the first day advertised. The dealer (Volvo Cars Cape Cod – Hyannis) serviced it, did the rear brakes and alignment, and supplied me rear liftgate struts ($250) after the fact that I installed myself. Very pleased with their service.
It is Ice White, with Espresso Brown leather interior, lacking only the headlights and the climate package (but has heated seats for Maine).
I am thrilled with the T6 engine and Sport shifting after 5 years of the 3.2; got my first speeding ticket in 9 years already! Don’t think I will go for the Polestar – too tempting.
Thanks to all on this Forum for all the good advice; I am monitoring it regularly.
