Hello -

Does anyone have advice on how to move the passenger seat back if the motor is broken? We don’t want to replace the seat motor—we just want to move the seat back to make it more comfortable for the front passenger.

We have a 2005 XC70.

Have you looked at the seat adjustment mechanism? Some cars have a threaded rod which the motor turns to adjust the position. You may be able to manually turn it with a screwdriver or wrench to move the seat. See if there's a how to on Youtube.
