I have been looking for an XC70 for a while. In my searching I stumbled across an XC70 that appears to have had some sort of disaster happen in the front passenger wheel well: VOLVO XC 70 - MECHANICS SPECIAL However, it appears that the only actual damage was the front LCA bushing. At the offered price it would be advantageous price wise, even if i had to replace the whole front suspension, plus the shock and axle. As for the body work, I am sure that I could fix it to like new condition with out breaking a sweat.

My question for you: Do you think that there is any damage to the transmission or steering? If so, how bad might the damage be and could it be fixed without huge expense?
