Spark plug for 2004 5 cyl turbo XC70
Hello,
I have an 06,2.5 ltr turbo xc70 and have used NGK Iridium BKR6EIX when changing plugs and have found those fine so far. Made a big difference after the original plugs made 100,000 klms without being replaced.
good luck

It's best to use the original Volvo plugs. They are platinum tipped and made by Champion but they are somehow not exactly the same. Other plugs can have a different capacitance and could cause damage and premature failure of the coilover units. The plugs should be replaced at least once every 50,000 mi. Remember to put a little anti-seize on the threads to prevent the corrosion between the plug and the aluminum head. You can stip the threads in the head. Make sure to blow out the sockets where the plugs sit with compressed air to prevent debris from falling into the cylinders. A can of compressed air like the kind used to clean computer keyboards works fine. Remember to disconnect the battery and wait five minutes for the coilover units to fully discharge to avoid the risk of an electric shock. These units produce about 50,000 v like a stun gun.
