I have a 2012 XC70 3.2L engine that is showing a P0076 check engine code, "low output on intake valve control solenoid." A new control valve solenoid did not fix the problem. Google search suggests the P0076 is either a defective solenoid (not, new solenoid didn't help), a broken wire or a bad ECM / PCM. I don't see any fuses in the fuse list that would be candidates; the ECM fuses are good, just removing / reinstalling only clears the code, which comes back as soon as the car is driven.
Does anyone know the location in the car for the ECM / PCM, and/or for the wiring harness that goes between ECM and solenoid ? Thanks.
