I'm wondering about how long engines last in a T6. From my T5 experience, about 200k miles is about when they start using more oil with decent care.



I'm looking at a 2009 T6 with 180k miles.

 

After more thought my experience is with 850s and a lot has changed since. I noticed an oil consumption issue on 2010s. Surprised that low oil level at 6k was bad on 7.5k mile interval, needing new pistons. I could live with that. Is this issue on 2009s?



Also read somewhere else that the rear axle CV joints are very expensive to replace and there are some issues on that for 2010s? But I have not seen any comments here.
