940 SE Turbo steering noise
Silly problem which is probably easily repairable...

When i'm driving, 90% of the time I experience a squeaky sound when i'm steering. Driving about 15mphthe noise isnot apparent, but at low speeds it's VERY annoying!!

I've checked the power steering fluid level, which is fine, but fear it could be a problem with the power steering pump.

ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Cheers, Adam.

Adam,
Where is the squeaking coming from? Engine bay, inside the car itself, from the steering column or the steering wheel? Could be from any depending on the problem so depending on location it could be pump, rack, column bearing, airbag or electrical connector spring inside wheel. Equally it could be something as simple as the trim rubbing which could be solved with judicous use of PTFE tape.
