<FONT face=Arial>I found no mentioning of this audible alarm, nor instructions about how to adjust it to start at any other speed.</FONT></P>

Try your owners manual OR go to the Volvo dealer and ask the parts guy or the service manager if that know how it works. Sounds like a cool option!</P>

It might be that its just an alarm saying your going over the speed limit. On my 87 GLE the speedometer has a red dash indicating that the maximum speed limit everywhere (including freeways) was 55 mph, except mine has no alarm. Im not sure when they changed it, but it could be based on that same general idea.
