another radio code question
My car recently had the battery terminals cleaned, and of course the radio won't work. After searching here, I called the local dealer, and got the radio code. I have entered it several times, and it always came up with EEEE after I entered the code. After the last time I entered it, it says OFF. Guess I've maxed my chances out. So what do I do now? I did call the dealer back (prior to the OFF code coming up), and verifed that I had the correct code. Am I going to have to pull the radio out and get a code from the serial number? Please tell me no. I have never had much luck getting those little radio clip thingys back in.
What year and model?
To reset the radio you will need to leave the key in the first position for about 3 hours till it says code again.
Take the radio out and have them pull the numbers off of it.

I had to try the key in first position for two 3-hour rounds, but it did reset.
The dealer needed both the serial number and the model number, but they did get me another/different code. And it worked! So after 3 weeks of no radio, it's finally working. Thanks for your help.
