New 2006 V70

I have a new 2006 V70 with the hu-650 stereo. Can someone tell me what the tp and news function is on the stereo? When you go to menu it asks if you want them on or off. Help

There is nothing in the owner's manual saying what the functions are. It tells about every other function but these.
