Wonder if any of you have found any ready speaker adapter so you can mount regular std. 6.5 "speakers in the doors of a Volvo XC60?

I used the existing spkr mounts, you need a heat gun to loosen the glue so you can rotate the spkr to release it from the bracket. pretty easy just requires a little patience 6.5"s fit perfectly the front requires a 3.5 along with 6.5" you have the enlarge the mounting hold for the 3.5 to fit. contact me for more details.

 

Yes that is a option to use the old speaker frame for this. But want to have them to put back when I sell the car. Probobly going to have a new XC60 in a few years and then whant to use the same speakers in the new car. Look like you not can buy this speaker adapter.
I am going to make 4 new one to put the new speakers in.
