Bad coil now won’t start
A few months ago had an ignition coil go bad. Replaced and was fine. Last night I decided to push it a little hard and it resulted in another bad coil. Like the other bad coil, there was smoke, electrical burn smell and the obvious burn on top of the coil. Car missed, like it would being down a cylinder and how it acted before. Drove it about a mile home and parked it in the garage. Bought a new coil and replaced. This time after replacing the car won’t start. Engine turns over just fine but won’t fire. Doesn’t even hesitate to fire. Sounds and seems like it would if it was cranking with no spark. That’s the best way I can explain it. I’ve checked all fuses and unhooked the battery for several minutes. Didn’t do anything for it. 2012 Volvo S80. Any suggestions?
