97 850 Turbo. Leaking tank. What are steps to changing? Any tricks or things to be wary of? I am replacing thermostat and hoses at same time.

Thx

Default RE: HELP!!! Changing RADIATOR

It is kind of a dreaded job due to it comes out the bottom of the car.The radiator shroud is held in with 2 screws that go from the engine compartment towards the front in the rad support. Then there are 4 screws that go from the front of the car towards the rear of the car that hold the intercooler and condensor onto the radiator.2 are on top on the inside of both headlights. You will need a swivel to get to them. The other 2 are on the bottom of the car. Then there are 2 screws from the bottom going up into the metal on the body of the car.Once you get the car up high enough it will go pretty good it you have 2 extra people.Or atleast 1 extra. You need to have someone help you hold the condensor while you drop the radiator and intercooler. Then you have to remove the intercooler from the radiator once you got it out of the car.Try to keep the condensor supported so the lines don't break.
