Default help on changing mounts

I am not a handy man, but is changing engine mount, transmissions mount a novice can do, can someone recomend what manual to use like vadis etc. also is it something I should try, never worked on cars before, just done oil change and basic screw driver stuff.

also I have a used 960, is it wise to use used engine mounts that will cost me $20 compared to after market for $60 from FTC Groton

Default RE: help on changing mounts

The 960 mounts are a little complicated to do.
The left side one is a pain to do.
I hate doing them.
Vadis should be a good thing to show you how to do it.

I wouldn't use used mounts buy new will be alot better.
The mounts are hydrolic and most of the time you can't tell their bad till you get them in. Or they Blow out and leave the fluid all over.

I would hate to see you waste 2 to 3 hours replacing them to find out they are bad.
