IPD or V-Performance
I'm in the process of rebuilding my b18 engine for my 1966 122s. I want to give my car more power, but I want it to be usable/driveable power. I've been looking at IPD's performance cam kits(my stock cam is worn out) but I also like the idea of having v-performance make a custom cam. I don't want to pump a bunch of money into "performance" parts that do nothing, or get minimal gains. Does anyone have tips? I plan on using IPDs 4-2-1 header......maybe a weber carb conversion....I had my SU's rebuilt and I have a new weber conversion so I don't know which to use. There's just so much stuff out there. Any guidance would be great.
Thanks, Chris

I've looked into both and both options look good. V-performance offers a more custom set up because they can make a cam based on my set up. The question is is the difference in performance between the two options worth the $300+ more for v-performance or is the more generic IPD set up the way to go. I'm looking for opinions on either companies products.

IPD makes great products.
I have never heard of V-Performance before so I don't know.
Also it is all up to you in the end. I mean custom route is cool and unique and would be a great way to go.
