Default IPD non turbo performance exhaust

Has anyone here tried one of these systems or any other after market mufflers on a N/A 240 ? IPD claims a 5-6 hp increase and supposedly better acceleration, but I'm wondering if the reduction in backpressure would cause a loss of torque particularly in an automatic equipped car ?

the IPD exhaust is made out of parts from the turbo model.

$200 you can probably buy a muffler, and weld it on to the current set up.
it would sound better. also cut off the resinator if it has one.....

You can buy the same kit from FCP for even less. I just bought a bunch of 3 inch tubing so I can weld together my own own turbo back. Or you can go to a local shop and they'll crush bend a system together for you cost about 150 to 200.
