The new engine has a nipple looking thing on the passenger side and I have no clue what it's for. My Volvo is a 242 DL. Does anyone know what this is for? TIA

Found out what the nipple is for.


We got the motor in and now it wont start. I can't even smell gas when trying to start her. We replaced so many parts and now she wont start. It's a 1984 Volvo DL wagon I've had for years and refuse to give up on her. Guess now we will change relays........
