RE: Dumb question
That has to be the most, rediculous, retarded, unresearched, freeaking, @%$@#$@#$^^^&#$%$#@%@#$ lol just kidding.
Its actually a rather asute observation, one i didnt notice, but in my defense, i rarely go to that forum.
The simple answer is this. This forum is created of computer code known as ASCII. Which in turn is used in a program called Visual Basic. Which uses either psuedocode, C, or regular VB scripts to form the Forum. The most widely used progam on the internet for this is known as PhBB.
Now each forum has a points or ranking system. Usually its got about 3 of em. You will notice that the more times you post. your level as a poster goes from new to eventually Super Member. I would assume that Score: is another type of ranking or system that one can accumulate through the forum, however the moderators switched left it on on that forum and not in any of the others because they dont use it, or never intended to. Each forum is its own entity. So each can have its own attributes, meaning it can be open, or private, or locked, basically its own preferences. All set up by the moderators. By moderator i mean those that can acctually change the site, not just moderate the forums.
So in a nutshell, Its basically a unused forum option that was turned off, and someone forgot to take the option off on that particular forum. So everyone has it, but no one has anything from it.
