I have owned this S 60 since new and it now has 130,000 miles. My local shop replaced the clutch and since then there have been noises (about 6 months now). Now they sent to the transmission to a trusted transmission shop and they say a bearing has spun in the housing, ruining it. Anyone have an experience like this? Can anyone suggest where we might find a serviceable housing or even transmission?

kind of rare to hear of a manual transmission spinning a bearing unless it was leaking fluid. Where are you located? you can try Car-part.com to search yards for a replacement transmission.
