1990 940 question
I see where the 940 tubo estate was introduced in the USA in 1991, so how can I have a 1990? Is it really a 91? The title says 1990. All the parts place list parts for the 91-98 940. I am a little confused. I want to buy this car tomorrow, but am not straight on this point, help please, thanks.
Does it say it was titled in 1990 or does it say the car is a 1990. Most cars are introduced the year before, so it could be a 1991 that was titled in 1990.
Well the lady who is selling it, who is a Volvo lover, and has a new one, says its a 1990. Its just that while I have seen the 1990 940 estate mention briefly elsewhere and here (1 place) the majority of mentions are of the 1991 940. Soit seems a little strange, like a 70 1/2 Camaro. I take it, obviously the 1990 version as a valid animal, I'm just wondering if they are the same as the 91's, or more 740ish.
Get the vin and run a Carfax report on it. It could possibly be a Euro model. I know the 850 came out in 92 in Europe and the 1st year in the US was 93, but not sure about the 940.
