I've just had a new Engine management system ECU fitted. The fan was coming on and off and small engine surges at red lights. In park the engine has small surges (rev counter from just below 1 up to 1.5 and back again). When driving she pulls forward in small surges also. I've had a new thermostat - one instance of the needle going 3 quarters over - and she's been checked out. Is regularly serviced etc. But the electrician says the ECU is good, the wiring/electrics are all good. But she's still doing it! I love my Viv, she goes like stink, but no one seems to know what's going on under that hood. I'm sorry if I haven't explained very well, but I'm a woman okay?!!! Can anyone help? PLEASE.
